The challenge

To develop a brand identity and brand standards, design cohesive, branded collateral for the new business, and advertise the brand through an effective marketing campaign.

What I did

Logo & Branding:
The crank & spoke brand was designed to be upbeat and bubbly to replicate the excitement of riding your bike as a kid. This tone is introduced through the use of a bright, energetic colour palette, and the brand’s playful typeface.

Brand Standards:
To accompany the brands new identity, a brand standards guide was developed in order to maintain a consistent presence for the brand. This is an integral part of the deliverables to ensure the correct message is being delivered.

Branded Collateral:
A number of branded collateral was created for the crank & spoke brand. Rules and guidelines were also put into place to ensure proper reproduction of each item.

Marketing/advertisements

A series of advertisements in different mediums were designed to reach the intended audience. Posters, rack cards, and social media advertisements were the final deliverables created to market crank & spoke’s new business.
